Inductees to Wellington Region Business Hall of Fame announced

Eight regional businesses recognised for sustained business excellence

The eight businesses to be inducted into the Wellington Region Business Hall of Fame have been announced. They will be officially honoured at a gala Hall of Fame dinner at the Silverstream Retreat on Friday, 7 July 2017.

The companies being recognised for delivering sustained business excellence are:

· Gillies Realty/Gillies Group

· Label & Litho Limited

· L T McGuinness Limited

· Macaulay Metals Limited

· Metal Art Limited

· Pertronic Industries Limited

· Sanpro Industries Limited

· Tuohy Homes Limited

The Wellington Region Business Hall of Fame is hosted by the Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce & Industry with the support of principal sponsors Deloitte Private.

Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce President Neville Hyde says these eight companies are great examples of businesses that not only contribute to the regional economy but also to the overall wellbeing of their respective local communities.

“The aim of the Hall of Fame is to recognise and celebrate significant contributions by businesses to the economic and social fabric of our region,” says Mr Hyde.

“These eight businesses showcase the diversity, dedication and resilience required to have a meaningful impact on the environment in which we all live, work and play.”
