Haryana Ministerial delegation in New Zealand gets to do ‘kiwi-style’ networking for business

The Indian High Commission hosted a very impressive dinner event held at Tulsi Restaurant Cuba Street, Wellington on 17th May 2017. The event was supported by The India New Zealand Business Council [INZBC] Wellington Chapter.

A high-level delegation from Haryana visited Wellington, New Zealand on Saturday, June 17. The delegation was led by Shri O.P Dhankar, Hon’ble Minister of Agriculture, Govt. of Haryana. He was ably supported by the MLAs from Haryana, Shri Subhash Barala, Shri Mool Chand Sharma and Shri Tek Chand Sharma and other delegates and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Deputy Directors Mr Vishal Beri and Mr Surinder Pal Singh. His Excellency High Commissioner of India to New Zealand, Mr Kohli and Mr Sandeep Sood, Head of Chancery, High Commission of India were very delighted to receive the delegation.

The event was well attended by the prominent businessmen from Wellington, Headed by Jay Changlani from Accounts Icon Chartered Accountant and Chapter Head of Wellington INZBC ably supported by Mr Monty Patel of Tulsi Restaurant Chain, and especially those from the Agriculture and associated sectors.

Shri O.P Dhankar, Hon’ble Minister of Agriculture, Govt. of Haryana holds various portfolios including Agriculture, Govt. of Haryana. He talked about various pet projects such as Horticulture, Green House and dairy production.

The dinner was followed by a fruitful Business to Business meetings. Some great exchange of ideas were exchanged.

Chapter Head of Wellington INZBC said “ We provide platform to exchange ideas and network so that serious businesses can make most out of these events. I personally congratulate and thank Indian High commission for engaging us to work with them in such a successful and meaningful delegation event.
