Michelle Jablko joins ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited Board
ANZ announced today that Michelle Jablko will join the ANZ New Zealand Board of Directors as a non-executive director. The appointment is effective from today.
Ms Jablko has been acting as Alternate Director for Mr Shayne Elliott on the ANZ New Zealand Board and will cease to be Mr Elliott’s Alternate from today.
Ms Jablko is Chief Financial Officer for the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited.
A graduate in law and economics from Monash University in Melbourne, Ms Jablko worked as a lawyer at Allens Linklaters before becoming a Managing Director of UBS Australia and then going on to be Managing Director and Co-Head of Greenhill Australia.
ANZ New Zealand also announced that, following the announcement in December 2017 that Mr Nigel Williams will retire from the Board, Mr Williams’ retirement is effective from today.
ANZ New Zealand’s other Directors are Rt Hon Sir John Key (Chair), Tony Carter, Mark Verbiest, Joan Withers, ANZ New Zealand CEO and Group Executive David Hisco, and ANZ Group CEO Shayne Elliott.
