Progressive law firm welcomes new CDO


MinterEllisonRuddWatts is delighted to announce the appointment of Sarah Thirlwall as the firm’s new Chief Digital Officer, effective 14 May 2018.

Sarah will join the progressive law firm’s leadership team to advance new technology that will further increase efficiencies while ensuring security of the firm’s IT environment.

Announcing Sarah’s appointment, the firm’s CEO Mike Schubert said: "Sarah is an exceptional leader with a deep understanding of how technology can help deliver excellent service to our clients.

"Sarah was chosen after a competitive selection process from an outstanding field. She is very talented and known for her ability to translate technical speak into plain English, while foreseeing opportunities in the IT space. This is important as the firm continues to evolve and lead the legal profession on the technology front."

Reflecting on her appointment, Sarah said: "I’m pleased and excited to lead the digital advancement of this excellent firm.

Sarah is currently the Director, Strategic ICT Transformation Officer at Counties Manukau DHB and has many years’ experience managing large and complex IT environments and introducing new technologies.
