Forsyth Barr to Support New Zealand Business Hall of Fame

Forsyth Barr Limited has joined in supporting the New Zealand Business Hall of Fame to celebrate the contribution of outstanding individuals to business and community.

Neil Paviour-Smith, Managing Director of Forsyth Barr, is excited to be supporting the Business Hall of Fame. “To be acknowledged by the Business Hall of Fame a leader needs to not just be successful, but to maintain sustained success,” Paviour-Smith said. “And beyond their individual success they will have contributed more broadly, both to the business community and to New Zealand as a whole. We’re very pleased to play a role in celebrating such significant contributions”.

Former Forsyth Barr Chairman, Sir Eion Edgar KNZM, was inducted into the New Zealand Business Hall of Fame in 2004 for his work in sharebroking. He is now the Head of the Selection Panel. Edgar recently resigned as Chairman of Forsyth Barr after 20 years in the role but remains heavily involved as an Ambassador with the company that he has been an integral part of for over 45 years.

“We have a wealth of talent in this country” says Sir Eion Edgar. “I am delighted that Forsyth Barr is supporting this important event to celebrate, inspire and encourage leadership throughout New Zealand”.

Forsyth Barr is a highly respected name in the New Zealand financial services industry. Proudly New Zealand owned, and with over 80 years’ experience, Forsyth Barr assists corporate, institutional and personal clients with a full range of investment services including Investment Banking, Institutional Broking and Wealth Management.

Forsyth Barr joins the Auckland Business Chamber, Klopache and exclusive media partner NZME in support of this event.

The New Zealand Business Hall of Fame black-tie gala dinner will be held on Friday 27 July at The Cordis in Auckland.
