Chapman Tripp welcomes a new chief operating officer, Sophia Gunn. She starts with the firm today after 18 years as chief operating officer at Deloitte.
“We are delighted to appoint Sophia to this role and at the helm of our senior leadership team. Sophia is highly experienced and has driven many significant projects and improvement initiatives in her career across a number of areas, including business continuity, infrastructure and systems,” said Chapman Tripp’s chief executive partner Nick Wells.
“Her extensive experience at both Deloitte and New Zealand Post will be a great asset to Chapman Tripp.”
Sophia is relishing the new challenge and looks forward to driving the firm in a time of exciting change, including the move of the Chapman Tripp Auckland office to Precinct’s new Commercial Bay development in 2019.
“It is an honour to accept a position with New Zealand’s leading law firm and I am excited for the challenges and opportunities it will bring. I am looking forward to contributing to the ongoing success of one of the country’s most innovative and well-regarded legal firms,” Mrs Gunn said.
