Wellington Chamber Acknowledges Big Effort from Peter Biggs
The Wellington Chamber of Commerce thanks passionate
advocate Peter Biggs for his service as chair of the
Wellington Regional Economic Development Agency (WREDA)
ahead of his stepping back from the role at the end of this
year.
"I’ve worked alongside Peter for a number of years and have always been struck by his dedication and effectiveness in promoting the Wellington region to the world," says Wellington Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive John Milford. "He’s been a passionate advocate for us."
"The recognition of Wellington as one of the world’s most liveable cities is testament to our burgeoning cultural and economic strengths, something Peter can rightfully be proud of.
"He has taken WREDA’s five constituent organisations and successfully moulded them into the high-impact agency it is today.
"He leaves an agency now certain in its strategic direction and making a real difference on the ground.
"I wish Peter well as he focuses his efforts on his advertising business and philanthropic activities across the region," says Mr Milford.
