More properties can grow with Airbnb and STAAH

Now manage your room listing on Airbnb via STAAH channel manager

[Auckland, Wednesday, 24 October 2018]: The real-time connection opens up a world of opportunities for properties, including hotels, looking to grow their revenue from the booming sharing-economy.

“If it was a movie, the hotel distribution sector would be a mega-hit thriller,” says Gavin Jeddo, Founding Director of STAAH Ltd. “In the last decade alone, the accommodation booking sector has seen a metamorphosis, moving from traditional sales to online travel agents and metasearch emergence. And now, this – selling rooms on a platform that came into focus for its unique homesharing proposition.”

B&B, apartments, aparthotels and hotels have been listing their rooms on Airbnb for a long time. However, it was only early this year that Airbnb started making a concerted effort to woo professional accommodation providers

STAAH’s leading cloud-based channel manager is now connected to this effort. It will enable qualified properties from STAAH’s growing network of 6,000 properties globally to manage their Airbnb connection via the channel manager.

“The seamless connection brings with it the benefits accommodation providers deem as necessary to optimise their bookings and revenue – instant updates, avoiding booking errors, managing from a single source and insightful data.”

Airbnb revolutionised the travel industry with its homesharing proposition, and now commands a dominant market share with more two million people, on average staying on Airbnb per night.

The connection will be released in a phased manner with the roll-out being completed by mid-November 2018.

How the connection works? Which properties can list on Airbnb?

STAAH customers looking to grow their bookings can also follow the instructions here to complete your channel mapping and manage your listing via the STAAH channel manager.
