Continued change in Outdoor sees Derek Lindsay’s exit from OMANZ

There is no doubt that 2018 saw significant change in the make up of the Outdoor Industry. Although continuing to deliver impressive growth we have seen a year of merger and acquisition activity with changes affecting a large portion of the OMANZ members.

To add further to a year of significant change OMANZ is sad to announce it is losing its General Manager, Derek Lindsay, who has decided to reduce his advertising work commitments, so that he can focus on his own personal business.

Derek has been a consistent voice over the last two years in uniting the combined approach of the OMANZ Members to highlight the case for Outdoor.

Having re-branded and re-launched the OMANZ proposition, he has also been progressing the set-up of a new industry audience measurement system along with the first example of the Effectiveness of Outdoor, with a new NZ case study soon to be launched into the marketplace. He leaves the business in January so that he is able to finish up the outstanding projects.

OMANZ is now looking for a new General Manager to continue this work and further push the virtues of Outdoor for more and varied communication campaigns. Anyone who is interested in joining this dynamic media sector should contact Nick Vile on 021 190 8001.
