HOST Global Talent Internship Programme Launches in Auckland
The HOST Global Talent internship programme is launching in Auckland this month.
Companies with be partnered with highly skilled and talented former refugees who bring their global marketplace experience and cultural diversity to teams as short-term volunteer interns.
By hosting a HOST Global Talent intern, each organisation will offer NZ workplace experience, opportunity to demonstrate competency, and assistance to build networks in New Zealand.
In return, the organisations will gain highly skilled, tertiary qualified, multilingual and committed interns eager to gain hands-on NZ work experience.
“HOST International NZ is delighted to be launching this internship programme,”says Rochelle Stewart-Allen, HOST NZ’s Chief Executive. “One of the major barriers job-ready global candidates face is demonstrating local experience. We expect the HOST Global Talent programme to start opening doors for ongoing work opportunities for these talented and highly adaptable individuals.”
Providing internships can open up exposure to new markets, diversify customer bases and explore the feasibility of new products and services.
