The Female-led Podcast Helping Kiwi Mums Put Themselves On Their ‘To Do’ List.

She Moves Collective, an award-winning Waikato-based fitness company focused on helping postpartum women, has expanded its mission from just the physical aspects of motherhood by launching The She Moves Podcast today – aimed at supporting kiwi women mentally and emotionally through the highs and lows of motherhood.

She Moves Collective founders Renee Norman and Jenna Smith will be hosting the podcast, and showcasing their knowledge and personal experiences on all things motherhood, fitness, wellbeing and realistic self-care.

“It won’t just be Jenna and I talking in the episodes,” explains Renee. “We have a number of incredible guests in the first season, with well-known New Zealand mums like Jess Urlichs, Kate Hiini, Laura MacDonald from The Kiwi Country Girl, and Anna from Mom Store NZ all joining us in different episodes and sharing their own stories and experiences.”

As well as plenty of light-hearted (and relatable!) anecdotes, the podcast’s hosts and guests will talk about the “hard stuff”, giving practical advice to help mums manage the overwhelm in their lives – and to help them feel less alone in their struggles.

“We often take the ‘if you don’t laugh, you’ll cry’ approach to motherhood, so the episodes are a lot of fun, and we had a great time recording the first season. In saying that, we aren’t afraid to talk about the serious issues either – the first season alone covers topics from miscarriage, overwhelm and returning to exercise postpartum, to mindset, pelvic floor, twin parenting, starting a business as a mum, postpartum anxiety and more!” explains Jenna.
