Petdirect Expands Into 5,000m² Auckland Warehouse To Power Next Phase Of Growth
Petdirect, New Zealand’s leading Kiwi-owned pet supply retailer, is moving into a new 5,000-square-metre warehouse at Jomac Place in Avondale, more than doubling the size of its current facility. This is the company’s fourth warehouse move in just five years — a strategic investment to support nationwide growth, increased product range, and the expansion of its retail footprint.
Strategically located just minutes from the current site, the new warehouse allows Petdirect to retain its experienced operations team and to ensure a smooth transition.
Built for Scale, Designed for Speed
Operating alongside Petdirect’s existing Christchurch warehouse, the new facility will significantly enhance the company’s operational performance. It allows for:
- Faster delivery speeds nationwide
- Improved stock availability, both online and in-store
- Improved inventory accuracy and capacity to eliminate stockouts
- Support for growing in-store fulfilment and replenishment

The move to Jomac Place is scheduled for September and will be completed without any disruption to customer orders.
