Wellington Airport Announces Director Changes
Wellington Airport has announced that from 21 August 2025 Wayne Eagleson will be joining the Wellington Airport Board as an Infratil Director, replacing outgoing Director Phil Walker.
Mr Eagleson has served on the Wellington Airport Board for six years as an independent director appointed by Wellington City Council.
As previously announced, the role of independent director representing Wellington City Council has been filled by Rachel Taulelei effective 1 July 2025.
Wellington Airport thanks Phil Walker for his excellent and long-standing contribution to the airport, having served as a Board member since 2016.
Infratil appoints four directors to the Airport Board and Wellington City Council two, including Mayor Tory Whanau.
