His career includes working for an FTSE 100 alternative asset manager with USD 101 billion in assets under management and overseeing a EUR 700 million pan-European real estate fund.
A Chartered Accountant (CAANZ) and graduate of Victoria University, Matt began his career with Audit New Zealand before progressing through roles in development banking, shipping, central government and investment management. He brings extensive experience in building robust finance functions, driving operational efficiency, and delivering financial insight to support growth.
Matt’s career achievements include leading teams across multiple jurisdictions, delivering significant improvements in reporting accuracy and efficiency, and guiding financial strategy for multinational fund managers. His track record includes successful acquisition due diligence, restructuring initiatives, and mentoring high-performing finance teams.
With a reputation for clear analysis and practical leadership, Matt adds strength to an already experienced management team.
