MAS Scores A Hat-Trick Of Canstar Most Satisfied Customers Insurance Awards
August 26, 2025: Thousands of Kiwi insurance policy holders have spoken, rating MAS No.1 for insurance satisfaction.
Across Canstar’s latest insurance awards, MAS scores a hat-trick of accolades, winning Most Satisfied Customers Awards for Home & Contents Insurance, Car Insurance and Seniors Insurance.
For our awards, we asked over 6400 Kiwis to rate their choice of insurers across categories including Comprehensiveness of Cover, Cost, Customer Service and Value for Money.
Of the 17 major insurance brands that feature in our research, MAS is the only insurance provider to earn top 5-Star ratings in multiple ratings categories across all three awards.
Tom Slee, Canstar Group Manager – Wealth, Health & New Zealand says, “Winning one Canstar customer satisfaction award is a great achievement, but to earn three in the highly competitive insurance market sets MAS well above the competition when it comes to delivering customer satisfaction.
“This is the first year we’ve presented our award for seniors, who expect high levels of service. So for MAS to earn top 5-Star ratings for Communication and Customer Service across all three awards is testament to the MAS team’s dedication to its customers.”
Of their award win, Chris Sutherland, Chief General Insurance Officer – MAS, says, “We’re honoured to be recognised by Canstar with three Most Satisfied Customers Awards. These awards are especially meaningful because they reflect the voices of the people who matter most – our members.
“It’s a powerful endorsement of the care and quality we strive to deliver every day through responsive service, fair and transparent cover, or simply being there when it matters most.”
