Two Lotto Players Share $1 Million
27 September 2025
Two lucky Lotto players from Hamilton and Ōpōtiki will be ending the month on a high after each winning $500,000 with Lotto First Division in tonight’s live Lotto draw.
The winning tickets were sold at New World Rototuna in Hamilton, and on MyLotto to a player from Ōpōtiki.
Powerball was not struck this evening and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $10 million.
Strike Four has also rolled over tonight and will be $700,000 on Wednesday night.
Anyone who bought their ticket from New World Rototuna or on MyLotto should check their ticket as soon as possible instore, on MyLotto, or through the MyLottoapp.
Lotto NZ exists to return 100% of its profits to Kiwi communities through lottery grants programmes run by Te Puna Tahua NZ Lottery Grants Board.
Note:
Lotto counters across New Zealand and the MyLotto website/app will be closed from 7pm on Sunday 28 September until the late afternoon of Monday 29 September for a major technology upgrade.
