NTA Supports Hon Chris Bishop's Announcement Today For The Freight Industry
NZ Trucking Association welcomes today’s announcement from Transport Minister Hon Chris Bishop.
The creation of a Freight Advisory Council and the launch of a Freight Action Plan mark a major step forward for our sector. With freight demand forecast to grow by 55% in the next 20 years, the time for action is now.
We’re proud to confirm that the NZ Trucking Association will be at the table, representing the views of our members and the wider industry groups. This ensures the voice of operators, drivers, and industry leaders is heard loud and clear as New Zealand builds a safer, more productive and resilient freight network.
Our mission is simple: to get freight moving, to support growth, and to make sure our members benefit from practical solutions that work in the real world.
We’ll keep members updated as this important work progresses said David Boyce CEO NZ Trucking Association.
