Recruitment For External Members Of The Financial Policy Committee Is Now Underway
The Reserve Bank of New Zealand – Te Pūtea Matua is seeking expressions of interest for the external members of the Financial Policy Committee (FPC).
The FPC will be a new committee of the Board of the RBNZ and will be given authority to make key policy decisions relating to financial stability.
The FPC will be chaired by a member of the RBNZ Board. It will consist of the RBNZ Board Chair, the Governor, three other RBNZ Board members, and up to two external members.

Formal expressions of interest are required to be lodged via Appoint Better Boards. Applications close at 4pm on Thursday 30 October 2025.
