Quadrent Announces Separation Of LOIS Following Operational Separation
Auckland, New Zealand – 15th October 2025 – Quadrent, a leading provider of lease accounting and financial leasing solutions, today announced the operational separation of its LOIS software division. This strategic move marks a significant milestone in the company's history and sets the stage for LOIS to operate as an independent entity with a global focus.
The separation, led by Matt Archer (COO) and Stefan Iggo (CEO), aims to enhance the focus and agility of the business, allowing it to better serve its clients and innovate within the lease accounting and lease management software sector.
Stefan Iggo, the new Chief Executive Officer of LOIS, commented on the separation: “This represents a tremendous opportunity for LOIS to thrive as an independent company with a much broader focus. Our team is committed to maintaining the high standards of service and innovation that our clients have come to expect. We believe this move will enable us to be more responsive to market needs and accelerate our growth trajectory.”
LOIS will continue to provide its pioneering lease accounting and management software, which is renowned for its dual reporting capability and compliance with both IFRS 16 and FASB ASC 842 standards.
The separation will allow LOIS to streamline its operations and focus on its core competencies, including the development of advanced lease management tools and the integration of property-specific information into its lease accounting platform. This strategic realignment is expected to drive significant value for clients, ensuring continued excellence in lease accounting and management solutions.
As a result, LOIS is now launching its new Property tool designed to provide property managers with full visibility and control over every lease agreement. This will help manage lease terms efficiently, stay ahead of deadlines, and make data-driven decisions. In addition, the new Fleet tool is designed to enhance the management of vehicle leases, ensuring compliance and optimising fleet operations. This enhanced functionality and single source of truth means that all enterprise customers can be working in a much more effective and efficient commercial manner on what is typically an organisation’s largest and most complex financial obligation.
The separation is also driven by the strategic expansion into the UK and African markets which present significant growth opportunities but demand a unified and single-minded focus to meet the specific needs of clients in each region. With a number of beachhead clients already in the African and Middle East regions, the timing of the spin out of LOIS is logical.
Martyn Masterson, CEO of Quadrent, added: “We are excited about this next phase of LOIS’s evolution and that this separation will bring significant benefits to the customers of both Quadrent and LOIS. By allowing LOIS to operate independently, we are enabling it to pursue new opportunities and innovations on a global stage.”
The transition is expected to be seamless for existing clients, with no disruption to services. LOIS will continue to operate from its current headquarters in Auckland, New Zealand, and will retain its dedicated team of lease management, accounting, and software development professionals.
