Petdirect Launches 2025 Pet Census Survey For The Second Year Running

AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND – Kiwi-owned pet retailer Petdirect has today launched its 2025 Pet Census, inviting New Zealanders to share insights into their pet-parenting lives for the second year in a row.

Following the success of last year’s inaugural Census, Petdirect is once again calling on thousands of pet parents to help build the most comprehensive picture yet of what it means to care for pets in New Zealand – from feeding and wellness to lifestyle and spending trends.

As recognised pet experts, Petdirect is home to more than 500 free pet advice articles and offers complimentary consultations from qualified experts to help Kiwis make confident, informed choices for their pets. Insights from the 2025 Pet Census will guide how Petdirect continues to evolve its product range, enhance its expert content, and shape the growth of its physical store network – with stores now open in Takapuna, Mt Roskill and Tower Junction, and Mt Wellington coming soon.
