Two Lotto Players Share $1 Million

24 December 2025

It will be a Christmas to remember for two lucky Lotto players from Pukekohe and Ōtaki after each winning $500,000 with Lotto First Division in tonight’s live Lotto draw.

The winning tickets were sold at New World Pukekohe in Pukekohe and New World Ōtaki in Ōtaki.

Powerball was not struck this evening and has rolled over to Saturday night, where the jackpot will be $5 million.

Strike Four has also rolled over tonight and will be $400,000 on Saturday night.

Anyone who bought their ticket from New World Pukekohe or New World Ōtaki should check their ticket as soon as possible instore, on MyLotto, or through the MyLottoApp.

Lotto NZ’s Christmas promotion is now on, and this year there’s an extra $6 million in prizes to be won. There’s one prize of $1 million and 100 prizes of $50,000 up for grabs and all Triple Dip tickets bought between Sunday 14 December and 7.30pm Saturday 3 January will be in the draw with a chance to win.

We know our products are a favourite festive gift, so we’re reminding customers to gift responsibly this Christmas by ensuring they’re only given to adults.

Lotto NZ exists to return 100% of its profits to Kiwi communities through lottery grants programmes run by Te Puna Tahua NZ Lottery Grants Board.
