Three Lotto Players Win $333,333
17 January 2026
It will be a night to remember for three lucky Lotto players from New Plymouth, Wellington and Christchurch after each winning $333,333 with Lotto First Division in tonight’s live Lotto draw.
The winning tickets were sold at Whitcoulls New Plymouth in New Plymouth, Miramar Lotto and Gift Shop in Wellington and Pak N Save Moorhouse in Christchurch.
Powerball was not struck this evening and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $5 million.
Meanwhile, in tonight’s Strike Must Be Won draw, the jackpot was not won by a single ticket and therefore rolled down to Strike Three. The $1.5 million jackpot was shared by 118 players, who each take home $13,457. The winning stores and locations will be available on MyLotto on Monday.
Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above stores should check their ticket as soon as possible in-store, on MyLotto, or through the MyLottoApp.
The live Lotto draw aired on TVNZ2 tonight. We’ll be back on TVNZ1 at 8:20pm for Wednesday night’s live draw.
