Ticketek Entertainment Group (TEG) & Ticketek Commit To A Decade Of Live Experiences With Dunedin Venues Management Ltd
Ticketek, part of Ticketek Entertainment Group (TEG), today announced a 10-year partnership with Dunedin Venues Management Ltd (DVML), a long-term commitment to bringing more exceptional live experiences to Dunedin fans.
Running through to 2036, Ticketek will become the exclusive ticketing partner for Forsyth Barr Stadium and the Dunedin Centre, including the Dunedin Town Hall and Glenroy Auditorium. The partnership will be a shared commitment to growing Dunedin's live event culture, connecting fans to more of the moments that matter, and making those moments better every time.
More Events. Better Experiences. Together.
The partnership brings together Ticketek's ticketing platform, TEG's broad live content pipeline, and DVML's deep ambition to strengthen Dunedin as a destination for major events, leveraging the city's growing domestic and international connectivity through Dunedin Airport.
TEG has seen first-hand how breadth of content creates real value for Fans and Venues, from Hot Wheels Monster Trucks at Forsyth Barr Stadium and the Wrexham Downunder Tour at Sky Stadium, to the beloved Laneway Festival held annually across the country.
Together, Ticketek and DVML will focus on five shared priorities:
Growing Dunedin's event calendar — bringing more major sport, live entertainment and cultural events to Dunedin Venue Management Ltd venues.
Strengthening support for hirers and promoters — streamlined processes, enhanced venue capability and tailored solutions that make it easier to bring events to life. Expanding access to Ticketek's ticketing platform — continuously evolving technology that improves the event experience for Fans, Promoters and Venues at every stage.
Delivering exceptional fan experience on the ground — dedicated Ticketek support teams, there when it matters.
Building an ambitious joint innovation roadmap — leveraging TEG's data capabilities and technology to drive performance and fan outcomes.
"This partnership represents a significant milestone for Dunedin Venues and the city as a whole. By partnering with Ticketek and TEG, we are unlocking access to world-class ticketing technology, a proven live content pipeline, and the innovation capability to truly elevate what we can offer fans, promoters and event owners. We're excited about what the next decade holds for Dunedin as a major events destination." Paul Doorn, CEO, Dunedin Venues
“We are delighted to be collaborating with DVML on this long-term partnership,” said Cameron Hoy, Chief Operating Officer and Head of Global Ticketing, TEG. “Forsyth Barr Stadium and the Dunedin Centre are among New Zealand’s most dynamic venues, and by combining DVML’s ambition with TEG’s technology, data and innovation capability, we’re setting these venues up for the next decade, ensuring every Fan experience is more seamless, more engaging and more memorable.
