+IMPAC Services Announces Acquisition Of MITA Consulting Ltd
IMPAC Services (+IMPAC) is excited to announce another significant step toward its vision of becoming New Zealand’s leading health and safety company with global reach and the industry’s most satisfied people and customers, through the acquisition of MITA Consulting Ltd (MITA).
Established in 2011, MITA is an NZQA-registered Private Training Establishment (PTE) specialising in training for the utility supply industry, with a particular focus on line mechanics, cable jointers, and live-line workers.
+IMPAC Group Managing Director, Logan Aves, says the acquisition represents an important strategic alignment.
“Bringing another New Zealand family-owned business into +IMPAC is a valuable addition to our team. We have worked alongside MITA for a number of years and have been consistently impressed by their commitment to practical, competency-based outcomes that deliver real value to the sector. With our Safeworx team already well-established in supporting the utility industry, this acquisition creates a strong opportunity to deliver even more integrated solutions to our customers.”
MITA’s dedication to supporting the electricity supply industry through high-quality service delivery, coupled with its strong focus on practical, competency-based outcomes, makes the business a natural fit for +IMPAC.
For MITA founders David and Janet Edgar, the partnership represents an important step toward long-term growth and sustainability.
“This partnership positions MITA for continued growth. By aligning with +IMPAC, we gain access to broader resources, enhanced capabilities, and greater scale. This strengthens our ability to support our clients, expand our service offering, and continue delivering the high-quality training and expertise MITA is known for.”
MITA will continue to operate under the leadership of General Manager Mark Adams. David and Janet Edgar will also remain actively involved in the business, supporting both MITA and +IMPAC growth opportunities.
