Auckland Powerball Player Wins $5.5 Million

A lucky Powerball player from Auckland will be in for a treat after winning $5.5 million with Powerball First Division in tonight’s live Lotto draw.

The winning ticket was sold at Whitcoulls Glenfield in Auckland.

The prize is made up of $5 million from Powerball First Division and $500,000 from Lotto First Division.

Tonight’s winner is the tenth Powerball multi-millionaire this year, and the win comes just one week after a New Plymouth player won $14.3 million.

One other lucky Lotto player will also be celebrating after winning $500,000 with Lotto First Division in tonight’s live Lotto draw. The winning ticket was sold on MyLotto to a player from Marlborough.

Meanwhile, a lucky Strike player will also be celebrating after winning $700,000 with Strike Four. The winning Strike ticket was sold on MyLotto to a player from Wellington.

Anyone who bought their ticket from Whitcoulls Glenfield or on MyLotto should check their ticket as soon as possible instore, on MyLotto, or through the MyLottoApp.
