Raybon Doggy Dogg
After the sellout success of our first show for 2001 'Irish Annals of Aotearoa' BATS is proud to present Raybon Kan's brand new extravaganza.......
Raybon Doggy Dogg (The Artist Formally Known As Raybon)
1-17 February 2001 8.30pm Tuesday- Saturday 10.30pm Friday 16 & Saturday 17 February
Raybon Kan's latest, all-new stand-up show premieres at BATS Theatre on Feb 1 2001.
Following the sell-out success of his last three shows, 'An Asian at my Table,' 'Raybon of the Lost Ark' (which filled the State Opera House twice), and 'The Man With The Golden Raybon', this year's show marks a return to a more intimate venue.
"I'm keeping it real for the peeps in the streets," says Raybon in his normal jargon.
"In many ways, BATS is my true crib," says Raybon. "When you play a big crowd, it feels like a massacre. This time I'm going for more of a drive-by feeling."
Raybon is pleased to be back in Wellington. "I'm down, lowdown, with my homies in the Cafe District hood."
