The festival unites musicians, venues and non-profit organizations around the world to send out the message: Music Making a Difference. This is the only New Zealand event in the Festival!
This global project is a network of local events and will be held on the weekend of March 21-23 2003. Over 40 events have signed up in countries like Canada, United States, England, Zimbabwe, Romania, South Africa, Germany, Brazil, Bolivia, Australia, Switzerland, Gibraltar, Tunisia, Japan and Nigeria. Phil Collins is also supporting the One World Beat festival 2003.
