Amendment to finalist in the NZ Music Awards 2003
Statement from: The Recording Industry Association of
New Zealand (RIANZ)

Amendment to finalist in the New Zealand Music Awards 2003
RIANZ advises that the entry by the group Goldenhorse has been withdrawn from the Breakthrough Artist category of the 2003 New Zealand Music Awards.
The conditions of entry for the category state that groups or artists are not eligible if they or any member of the group have previously been a finalist in any other Tui category.
This condition was not met by Goldenhorse, a member of which had previously been a finalist while part of another group.
However the band remains in the running for Best Album and Best Single in this year's awards.
P-Money is now a finalist and joins The Datsuns and Blindspott in the Xbox / ZM Breakthrough Artist of the Year category.
The New Zealand Music Awards are to be announced in Auckland on Wednesday April 30, 2003.
