Class Of Cast Glass
A new generation of emerging cast glass artists will exhibit as a group for the first time in May. Seven artists with varying styles within this discipline have embarked upon a journey of exploration, in their passion for glass as a medium.
The artists are Kim Billyeald (Howick), Amelia Bywater (Christchurch), Steven Flower (Titirangi), Linda Jones (Bucklands Beach), Susan Louie (Onehunga), Zoe Pattullo (Mt Eden) and Jacquie Stumpel (Epsom).
Be seduced by the allure of vessels, sculptures and objects transformed from a wax model into lead crystal glass.
The exhibition runs for three days only, Fri 2 May to Sun 4 May, 10am to 4pm, and will be held at Uxbridge, 35 Uxbridge Road, Howick, Auckland. For further information phone 09 535 6467 or visit http://www.uxbridge.org.nz. Entry is free of charge.
