Quills Season: Wednesday 21 - Friday 30 May Time: 8pm, Tickets: $15 waged $10 concession
The NZ premiere of Quills by Doug Wright is a graduating Toi Whakaari students' cooperative production.
Set in the Charenton asylum, France, in 1807, Quills is about the Marquis de Sade, notorious for writings such as '120 days of Sodom', and 'Justine'. Six eccentric characters trying to survive in the twisted world of the Marquis experience corruption, power, morality and censorship.
Quills is directed by Karen Lamb, who has travelled from Dallas, Texas to be part of this show. Proudly presented by Smokefree Arts
