Poetry Day always goes off here at the Temple, so be here on this Friday 11 July from 7.30pm for some of the best and funkiest entertainment in town!

Thinking of entering the Montana Poetry Slam?, with $200 First Prize Then here's what you need to know:

All Poems must be Original Poems to be 3 minutes or less Time starts when you starting speaking (including introduction, preamble etc.) No Music No Props

Judging Criteria Slam judged on audience response Judges will be audience members No Slam Participants will Judge Scores 1-10 Points deducted for going over time

You should be prepared to perform up to 3 pieces 1 first round 2 finals 3 in case of a tie there will be a final slam

Registration is open to all on the night Running order will be drawn at random (from a hat etc.)
