Changes To Late Evening TVNZ News
From today, Monday
15 September 2003, TV ONE's late night news will become a 30
minute news bulletin under the banner Late Edition.
The production team for The Last Word and TVNZ News & Current Affairs management today mutually agreed after consultation to end the show approximately four weeks earlier than planned. The Last Word was scheduled to end at the beginning of TV ONE's Rugby World Cup coverage.
No further statement about The Last Word will be made by TVNZ or personnel who worked on The Last Word.
