Christchurch based group the Shocking Pinks start their national tour at the Dux de Lux this Saturday night. 10th January. Hear new material from their forthcoming Pinacolada Records CD release 'Dance The Dance Electric' in two 40 minute sets starting at 9pm sharp....the first set will be aimed at the dancefloor, the second 40 minute set will feature more mellower tunes. Entry is absolutely free.
The tour will then move on to dates in Auckland at the Kings Arms on January 17th and then down to Wellington at Amber on January 24th.
The Shocking Pinks feature ex-Brunettes and Solaa members, and are influenced by the New York sound of bands such as The Rapture and the DFA Records label.
