An exhibition of Wood Cut Prints on handmade Harakeke paper

Simon Cameron has recently completed his BFA in Printing. He lives and works in the Wairarapa. Simon's primary areas of interest investigate the changing landscape - from the plains to the bourgeoning pine forests and the horse.
The installation includes seven woodcut prints, on semi opaque harakeke paper, handmade by the artist, hanging in the gallery space to provide the physicality reminiscent of a pine forest. The forest hangings are 2.7 metres high and 500mm wide.
Simon's work has been seen in the Victory Lap exhibition in Wanganui. This is his first show in Auckland.
