Len Castle Honoured at Government House
Len was awarded a Distinguished Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit by Governor-General Dame Silvia Cartwright at an Investiture Ceremony at Government House in Wellington this morning.
His citation follows.

Mr Len CASTLE, CBE, of Warkworth
For services to pottery. Mr Castle is one of New Zealand's leading potters. He has been a full-time potter since 1964, and has worked, demonstrated and studied in New Zealand and overseas. He was awarded a Diploma of Excellence at an International Ceramics Exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum in 1972. His work is represented in museums and galleries in New Zealand, Australia, Japan and Italy.
