Background to the Festival
The 17th Wellington Fringe Film Festival to be held from 5 - 9 July. The Short Film and Special Competition will be held at The Paramount Theatre on Courtenay Place.
The Festival provides an opportunity for short filmmakers to screen their film in a supportive and non-competitive environment. During the five days, filmmakers are challenged to consider and discuss all aspects of filmmaking. They'll have the opportunity to gain feedback from industry experts and fellow filmmakers.
There's no selection process and no entry fee. The only criterion is that the filmmaker must come to Wellington to present and discuss their work.
The Kodak Music Clip Awards will take place on 9 July at Bar Bodega, on Ghuznee Street.
