Battle of the Bridge - Auckland Stars vs Harbour Heat

Tomorrow morning Friday 30 April 9:30am at Ponsonby Intermediate school, 50 Clarence Street, Ponsonby players from the Auckland Stars will match-up against crosstown rivals the Harbour Heat in the lead up the Saturday night's Battle of the Bridge.

Pupils from the school will make up numbers in a pick-up game with some of their basketball stars - Tall Black's Lindsay Tait and Mike Homik will lead the way for the Stars together with captain Casey Frank and Reese Cassidy.

Harbour have never won a Battle of the Bridge game, however this week's match could see the trophy move across with the Heat having their 'imports' primed and ready for Saturday night's fever.

Game time Saturday 7:30pm North Shore Events Centre.
