Battle Of The Fittest At Cardrona
Battle Of The Fittest At Cardrona
Back by popular demand, the third annual Base Ultracross Series kicks off at Cardrona Alpine Resort. Run every Tuesday over four weeks. Starting on 3 August, teams will battle it out on Cardrona’s Gravity-X course, vying for the title of Supreme Base Ultracross Team.
“This is always a very popular event, if a little physical,” said Nigel Kerr of Cardrona. “Helmets are compulsory for a reason. When that competitive spirit gets up, there’s no stopping them as they charge round the berms and fly over the rollers. Speed is definitely of the essence.”
Prizes up for grabs include two pairs of Rossignol skis, two Rossignol snowboards and $2,000 cash from Jagermeister who will also be providing plenty of dutch courage for competitors!
Entry is $135 per team of four
and the entry form can be downloaded from
