NZ crews 200-1 for five Athens rowing medals...Twins 1-3 for gold
Australian bookmaker Centrebet is taking bets at 200-1 that Kiwi crews win five Athens Games medals on Saturday and 1-3 that Caroline and Georgina Evers-Swindell win gold in their event.
The Twins are almost guaranteed to win a medal in the women's double sculls but Centrebet is tipping that New Zealand will pick up at least one more prize in Saturday's other rowing finals.
"It looks like the only way that the Evers-Swindells girls will not win is if their boat sinks," says Centrebet's Gerard Daffy. "All five crews have fair medal chances, particularly the men's pair."

TAB New Zealand is prohibited from betting on the majority of Athens Games sports, including rowing, whereas Centrebet is offering odds on every gold medal from archery to wrestling.
