After Remy, a divorced college professor, is hospitalized with a terminal illness, his estranged son, Sebastien , flies from London to Montreal to care for him and check up on his mother. Sebastien uses his various contacts to make his father's hospital stay easier, while reuniting him with many people from his past: relatives, friends, and old flames.
