SNAP!presents two libertarian classics by radical French director Jean Vigo:

Zero Pour Conduite (1933) a surreal attack on authoritarian education system. The film was banned in France for twelve years, and inspired Lindsay Anderson's 1969 film If!, followed by: L'Atalante (1934) a mix of realism and poetry on the waterways of Paris. Released shortly before Vigo's death.

7.30pm, Sunday January 30 on the biggish screen at 128 Abel Smith Street. introduced by Barrie Alpaca

The films are almost new commercial video tapes so hopefully we won't have the technical difficulties that have accompanied previous screenings
