Festival First - SMS People's Choice Award

Festival First - SMS People's Choice Award

The NZCT World Buskers Festival has received hundreds of text message entries in New Zealand's first ever SMS People's Choice Award for a festival.

Much like NZ Idol, the public vote for their favourite Festival act - from the entire 2005 line-up - by sending a text message (SMS). However, unlike NZ Idol, there will be three winners in the Award - an international act, a New Zealand act and a member of the voting community.

The People's Choice Award winner will be announced at the closing night of the Buskers Comedy Club in the Arts Centre North Quad on Sunday, 30 January.
