Drama
TVNZ has commissioned a new 13-part drama for children, set in the time of the Land Wars and featuring some spectacular New Zealand scenery.
The Lost Children is being produced for TVNZ by Big House Films, and is to be made with funds tagged specifically for Charter programmes.
Producer Mike Smith says The Lost Children is set in 1867 and covers the epic journey of four children working their way from Taranaki to the South Island.
The series will be filmed in Wellington and the South Island later in the year.
