TVNZ is to make a new local comedy/horror show for kids, scheduled to screen later this year.
NZ On Air has just approved funding for Killian's Curse – a Gothic tale set in a haunted classroom.
The 7-part series is written by Thomas Robins, creator, co-writer and director of the highly-regarded "Freaky" series broadcast on TV2, which won the Bronze medal at the New York Festival and has since been sold internationally.
Killian's Curse will be a TVNZ production, shot in and around Wellington, with post-production done at the Avalon studios.
