Increase of Final Field Betting Races
Increase of Final Field Betting Races
The TAB will be offering Final Field betting on an expanded selection of both harness and galloping races from the start of the new racing season.
Final Field betting will be offered on all NZ galloping races excluding maidens and non-feature two year-old races, with all races being covered at Premier meetings.
For Australian races, as a general rule, Final Field betting will be available on the two main Metropolitan meetings on any Saturday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Additional Australian races as covered by Trackside might be included the New Zealand Racing Board’s racing bookmaker Paul Lally says.
“Our customers have been crying out for us to increase the number of races we offered Final Field betting on,” Mr Lally says. “The new format will see more than a fourfold expansion in the opportunities for these people to pit their skills against our bookie team.”
