Tanya Maree Gallery officially opened on Thursday 21st July. It was a great night, enjoyed by all.

We are currently exhibiting work by
Tanya Ruka (Oil Paintings), Saffron Laurence-Bade (Paintings), Sola Laurence-Bade (Paintings), Vida Jane Gwynne (Paintings), La Robinson (Ceramics), Leone Clapham (Ceramics and Paintings), Phil Tchernegovski (Ceramics), Erana Aldworth (Paintings).

From October I will be showcasing a new artist each month.

Open Hours: Wed - Sat 10am - 2pm, or call for an appointment.

Waitaha Kapa Haka: Waitaha-South Island Kapa Haka Celebrates 60th Anniversary

With its geographical reach spanning most of the South Island, the event, held at the Wolfbrook Arena in Christchurch, is geographically the biggest of the 12 kapa haka regions in New Zealand, and will showcase the best Māori cultural performances in the South Island. This year, the competition has the participation of 13 kapa haka teams, equalling the highest number in the event's history.
