The John O'Shea Award for Best NZ FILM has been awarded to Aucklander Welby Ings. The award is worth $23,000 dollars worth of 35mm film resources, the biggest film festival prize offered in New Zealand.
This years jury panel included world renowned cinematographer Michael Seresin and Hollywood film director Harold Becker. Welby Ings also scooped Best Art Direction, Best Director and Best Editing.
