Rebecca le Harle leaves Fast Crew
The Fast Crew’s many fans know her as Becks, the siren with the stunning voice behind the group’s three hit singles It’s The Incredible; Mr Radio and of course the massive I Got, but Rebecca le Harle has now officially left the Kiwi hip-hoppers.
Rebecca chose not to speak about her decision to leave the group in December of last year but she has recently become concerned with various rumours, speculation and lies that are beginning to surface regarding her departure.
Rebecca was not fired, nor was she ever asked to leave the group, but instead chose to end her tenure with the crew. Breaking her silence to put the record straight Rebecca has this to say:
“I left on my own accord at the beginning of December having resigned months earlier.”
Some people may think it’s crazy to leave a top-selling act but for Rebecca the decision was an easy one to make.
“I felt as a songwriter the Fast Crew was no longer a challenge,” she says. “It wasn’t really the right thing for me anymore.”
Since leaving the group Rebecca has been pursuing new ventures. She has her own show, ‘Cherry Lane’ on Auckland’s Alt TV and has finished recording a solo demo, which has attracted the attention of various labels overseas.
Fans of her distinctive voice can look forward to hearing much more from Rebecca in the upcoming months.
