Tui Civil Offence Squad boosts Hurricanes presence in Wellington City
The Hurricanes and major sponsors Tui
have taken a new approach to home game promotion in
Wellington city for the 2006 Rebel Sport Super 14 season.
The Tui Civil Offence Squad is a 10 strong team of Hurricanes supporters, dedicated to promoting the game, selling tickets and providing lucky winners with seats in the “Tui Zone” at the Stadium, where fans are hosted by members of the squad for the duration of the game.
The Civil Offence Squad tours around bars in the week leading up to the Hurricanes next game, starting with a massive launch party this Thursday from 6-8pm at Downtown Local, Cuba Street.
The entire squad will be in attendance, as well as a number of Hurricanes sponsors and VIPs. The event is also open to members of the public.
As well as the on-site component, the Tui Civil Offence Squad can be found online at www.offence.co.nz. There are squad biographies and chance to win great prizes, including seats in the Tui Zone.
