Toyota Picnics in the Park postponed until Sunday 5 March
Due to bad weather the Toyota Picnics in the Park kick off at Waitangi Park tomorrow, Sunday 5 March from 1-4pm, with The World Comes to Wellington picnic.
Revellers will be able to dance their way around the globe as the incredible Earth from Above exhibition of photographs will be on display. The Sharon Shannon Band (Ireland) and Antonio Forcione (UK) will provide a background of world music for all picnickers to enjoy. New Zealand dub maestros Salmonella Dub also take the stage, topping-off this fantastic afternoon line-up. Please note this is the last chance people have to catch Antonio Forcione during the 2006 International Festival.
When: Sun 5 Mar, 1 – 4pm, Waitangi Park, Wellington
[Any further cancellation announcements will be made on local radio stations]
